Interview based on F4 brother-sister sponsorship with spouse and two children as derivative beneficiaries.
The officer was very professional and quite pleasant. After being sworn in and providing our passports and birth certificates, he requested the same as well as proof of citizenship from my brother, the USC sponsor. He went through each of our files individually and basically verified the information and updated where necessary. It was a very quick and much less intimidating experience than anticipated. Overall, we found it to be a smooth, efficient and even pleasant experience. Even the guards at the entry were nice!
At the end, we were wished well and told that our green cards should arrive in the mail within 2 weeks, possibly 3 weeks with the Christmas holidays coming up.

Adjusting from F-1 student visa to Legal Permanent Resident via marriage to a U.S. Citizen: (I-485, I-130, I-765)
We arrived for our appointment about 30 minutes early. I wanted to make sure we had time to find the place in case we were lost (I expected it to be near the USCIS support center further West, but it was actually much closer to I-15 and 5300 S.)
We were called in 5 minutes after our appointment time. We followed Office Quarrel (I think was his name?) to his office.
He swore us both in and simply asked how we met. He was very personable, and continued to read over our paperwork with us, checking ID numbers we listed against the paperwork we brought with us (SSN, A#, etc).
At one point, he opened my wife's passport and started to mark out her student visa with a black marker. I thought to myself, "Nooooo" but then he smiled at us and said, "You can't have a non-immigrant visa if you're approved as an immigrant!" *p... read complete review

We went for my wife's interview for her AOS to become a conditional permanent resident on Friday, May 14, 2010.
From everything I had read and heard about these interviews I was ready for an interrogation. I thought they were going to be asking all sorts of questions to prove that we were married. I also had a stack of documents and pictures to show them.
Here is what really happened.
We showed up early for the appointment. The lady that was interviewing us was there at the door waiting for us. She was very nice and pleasant. We went into her office and the first thing she asked us was how we met. I told her something about how we met at a local church singles activity. That was pretty much the only question she asked about our relationship and I dont think it really mattered what I said. The rest of the questions she asked us were things she was verifying from the forms we already filled out, like name, address, S.S.#.

Salt Lake City, Utah Naturalization Interview Experience May 2010
I hope this is searchable for others because this will be the first time anyone mentions a Salt Lake City interview experience here on VJ, I was somewhat disappointed to not find anything when I searched for it before, so I am now pleased to provide this information to whoever it may benefit.
The USCIS office if on the west side of the freeway just north of the 5300 S exit in a really nice looking office building but the inside is somewhat run down. There is a small waiting are for about 40-50 people, it was half full during my time there. I arrived 30 minutes early for my interview and waited about 30 minutes past my appointment time so about an hour all in all.
I was surprised by how under dressed some people were, there was a guy in there wearing a denim jumpsuite with muddy boots and a stained haines shirt under it.
